Title: 2014 Turkey Fans done

My 2014 birds have dried and been mounted.  First time I incorporated shotgun shell with beard and spurs.  I like it so much I think ill do all my future fans this way.

Looks good ...  :tup:

Some other things you may want to consider or try ....
1) 3 x 3 picture of you and bird on the wood below the fan and above the beard/shell/spurs section
2) A nice wing feather from the right side from base of fan up to the right at about a 20 to 30 degress angle
3) Breast feathers between the fan and the wood to really set it off.

Im having small 1x3 brass plates engraved with day and year of bird killed.

Do the same - but with type of bird and local too ...
