Title: Badlands Summit Legit?
Post by: herdbull33 on June 13, 2014, 05:35:24 PM: I'm in need of a new hiking/ multi-day hunting pack. Anybody use the Summit? I have the 2200 and love it but I've heard the old 4500 and new summit have a plastic internal frame? Thanks.

The Summit is lighter than the 4500 and the fabric is different as well, hence the reason for the difference in weight. They have a polycarbonate frame in both the 4500 and the Summit. I'll let you know how my 4500 performs after I hopefully have a bull packed in it.
