When ID does post results don't waste anytime checking. There site crashes almost every year it seems like.it completely crashed on the trophy draw results this year. Was down a couple days amd when it came back it was a completely differentnlooking page. Maybe they upgraded the programs and it wont crash again.... but I will enjoy the frantic posts about it being crashed if it does crash! :chuckle: only because im not in this time.

Go in like you are buying a license/tag and if you see a controlled hunt tag, then you drew. But if you don't see one it could mean a) you did not draw or b) results not posted yet.

I don't know if I can handle 2 States worth of rejection. Hopefully we find out soon.im with ya on two states but some of these guys are looking at 5+ different states without drawing! That really sucks.

I'm thinking they won't be out till Friday. Washington was Tuesday or Wednesday. Oregon was Thursday a week later so Idaho should be Friday.A week later than last year? :dunno:

A lot of units in Idaho have great deer. I personally apply to 44 because I am familiar with some of the area. Not because I saw a nice buck that was taken from the unit then published in a magazine.

I'd rather have a late 11 tag than a 44 tag. 44 is relatively easy hunt with a month and a half to rifle hunt! I'd go early, find a buck a few days before season and kill him opening morning. Take a dirt bike!

Sweet draw. Some giant resident bucks in there! Go Scout in July, cover lots of country, use your glasses. Give yourself as many hunt days as possible. I always start at the north end of that unit and work my way down. Make sure you have a 4-wheeler or UTV. My favorite area in that unit is a 45 minute 4 wheeler ride in from the gravel road (before you start hunting).
