Title: Lower Crab Creek Wildlife Area GMU 278 Wahluke
Post by: GameHunter1959 on June 17, 2014, 04:16:53 AM: Can anyone tell me about GMU 278. It is open for Muzzy (new). Looks like a fair amount of ground avaliable to hunt.

Is this a good area to try and kill a deer with a Muzzy?

Thought I would investigate a little. It is close to Desert, so I figured it may get some good genes out that way.

Have the deer numbers got any better?

Thanks for the info. I was bored researching, so I thought I would ask the question. I will look elsewhere.

Post by: go4steelhd on June 17, 2014, 05:44:33 AM: I'm not saying don't hunt it. But if I where looking to hunt a new area with a chance at a big buck this would not be my area in focus. I would look on the game site. At areas with the highest # of bucks harvested and go from there.
