i was just wondering what the thoughts were of my browing bar blue steel belgium barrel 30-06

Same rifle my dad has, they're reliable and just as accurate as the best bolt action rifles. Only thing I don't like is they're a bit on the heavy side, but that does help dampen recoil so it also is beneficial, as long as you're not packing it up and down mountains all day long.

i inherited this gun for my graduation from my grandpa which his best friend who died had it and it was only shot 6 times

Solid hunting rifle in a good caliber for any critters in Washington.
