Title: Anyone have experience with Aksala Canton Chesapeakes pups?

There are a lot show credentials on the website and that is not particularly what I am looking for. I think that they are good looking dogs. The health checks seem to be pretty good though. The stud has a sister that is a SH so they should do fine in the field.

I have owned a Chesapeake before and like the breed.

Remember in the Chessie world, the venue of titles definately doesn't define the purposing of the dogs. If it were a bunch of "CH" in front of the pedigree names on a lab I'd tell you to walk away in 90% of the time.

The breeding is sound with well known lines and good showing of health testing. If you are looking for a hot rod dog which will be capable of quickly working into the hunt test world at a high level it might not be the top choice. if you are looking for a good looking, healthy hunting partner and family dog it will probably be a great breeding.
