Title: Comfortable camo clothes that won't break the bank.
Post by: Rock Hopper on June 28, 2014, 05:48:36 PM: I'm looking for opinions on camo clothes. I have 2 pair of Sitka pants that I absolutely love. I want a couple full sets of camo and there is no way I'm paying what Sitka wants for a jacket. Other than the Kuiu clothes are there others out there that come even close as far as comfort goes that are less expensive?

Post by: Smossy on June 28, 2014, 06:48:56 PM: As far as cost goes and how well it works. ImO cant beat Kings Camo. Atm its all I wear and comes in desert shadow for you eastern hunters or mountain shadow for you timber/western hunters like myself. For now. Its what Ill stick with.

PathfinderJR just bought a jacket from Kryptek and he likes it.
I think that Sitka/Kuiu/Krypteck are all about equal. I think I would just watch camofire and be ready if what you want pops up. Shouldn't take long...

Post by: 7mag. on June 28, 2014, 09:47:59 PM: Check out Tusx as well. I haven't used it, but there is a member on here that has some, and seems to like it. It's a new company out of Australia, and the web site lists the prices in Aussie dollars, so I'm not sure about value.

Like Smossy, I also wear a lot of King's camo and am very happy with it as well, love their camo patterns and find good sales on their website. I'm also a fan of the microtex line from Cabela's and will buy it when it's on sale.

Post by: Bmcox86 on June 29, 2014, 10:49:21 AM: I went the core4 route on camofire last year, got a whole setup except for rain gear,wish I would of got the rain gear but o well. Added some kuiu this year so I will see what I like better.

You can find some good deals here and on rokslide on used kuiu, Sitka, core4 and kryptek.

The Kings Camo site looked good, even had a nice package sale, but all their pants are 32" Inseam?

I am a new hunter, just getting my 1sty set, but it seemed really odd to not have over 32" or am I missing something?
