The check is in the mail, so hopefully it will cool off a little so I can start making some trips up there. Can't wait!!!

very cool! Something most of use will only dream of
-
Congrats and good luck on your hunt :IBCOOL:
-
Thanks X-Force...I got a little excited!
-
Geez! $332! I still can only dream about this permit, and I do dream about it a lot at least once per year when I apply. Congrats on the opportunity, hope the hunt is a hunt of a lifetime.
-
Hey, that looks really similar to the one I got!
-
There is no feeling like having a bighorn tag in your pocket!
-
Nice!
-
What a great deal. Hope to see the result of this. Keep us updated as you progress.
-
:yeah:
-
 Sheep has been my #1 wish to draw, so I settled for moose this year :chuckle:
Good luck, and don't forget to share pics/story with us.
-
Nice they give you plenty of time to get the check in! Hope the mail doesn't run too slow or you are not on summer vacation when it shows up!
-
I think since you scratched off all the info on your tag, you can donate it to me, or anybody else......
-
I was wondering the same thing Camp.Hopefully it's a photocopy

Dang, didn't think about a photocopy................... :chuckle:

Actually I posted a clean picture in a fit of excitement and my new buddy X-Force (wise man that he is!) brought it to my attention that maybe a public forum might not be the best place to post all that extra information on the card. I think I'll keep this one Camp, but I'm sure you could probably talk Nock Nock or I into showing you how to carefully, and smoothly press the submit button on your keyboard next year while quietly mouthing the word "please, please, please".... It's a balanced combination of finesse and pure luck!! :)

I would be willing to pay for that proven Technique! Good luck with your hunt.

Congrats and have a great hunt.
Take your time and go get a nice looking ram!
-
that's awesome man ...hope you get a good one
-
and please make sure you shoot your gun in :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Funny you mention shooting my gun in. I just got a new .595 round ball mould in the mail today. The Hawken will definitely be "shot in" by November! I thought I'd try a bit smaller ball and thicker patch combo to see if I can get a little tighter group.
-
know where you wanna be on the 1st ;)
-
I like the youth price. :chuckle:

You're in trouble now Dave. I saw the unaltered version of your photo when you first posted it so now I know where to find you. LOL. This is Chris... (we know each other through Ray but it's been a few years since we have ran into each other).
It is really nice to know that unicorns (OIL permits) do exist. I think you are the first person that I know that has drawn one of their OIL tags. I know one other person whose daughter told me he drew the Asotin sheep tag a couple of years ago but I was never able to confirm that. Best of luck with the permit. I'm sure you will do it justice and it will be cool to see someone take one with the smokepole.
