So i have a 2009 bear lights out and ive been sighting it in for longer yardage, ive been doing really good but the last 2 days or so ive been shooting like crap. ive noticed that when i draw back and look threw my peep, i can now see my string on the right side of my peep encroaching on my pins. And i dont know if its always been like that and just now noticed it but its all i can focus on now. Its a 09 and has a strait cable rod and a little plastic cable slide nothing fancy just a piece of plastic. it seems like i cant get a close group now that i noticed it. but when looking at the bow nothing looks out of place.
is it paranoia or just me?

Sounds like your pwep moved. That will destroy your prior accuracy.

Sometimes that kind of set up with the straight cable guard starts to fatigue. If it is it will change the group size and eventually brake. Check to see if your cable guard is bent or has a crack in it.

String stretch will cause peep to rotate. If you are shooting the original string and cables, I would have it replaced with a pre stretched string, and cables. If you cant afford that or feel that is unnecessary, take it to a shop and have them pull the peep, and realign it.

Thanks for the replies. I dont see any cracks or show of the guard been busted, Must be the peep. I had the twisty peep replaced with the kind with the rubber tubing cause the other one was to big and rotated too far. Im sure the string is not new but its not the original. Ill have to look into it getting it realigned.
