Haha I like where your priorities are, looks like a new house. Instead of getting all the other necessary work done you make certain to get those wall hangers up first, nice! I would have done the same.
-
You hit the nail on the head, we were even living in the house yet and I had the mounts up. I need to take some updated pictures now that its done, and that all the mounts are up, I am lucky to have and understanding wife, plus its nice since two of the bears up are hers.
-
A few in my den.
-
I did the dame dang thing. Mounts up first then the furniture can come in. :chuckle:
All dandy bucks finnman. Is that last big muely a Washington buck?
-
NICE looking mounts! :)
I gotta ask, what is with the Blue nose and the blue around the eyes on the last picture? :dunno:
-
Great mounts thanks for posting them! One day I will have a couple hanging on the wall

Here are a few of our mounts. Some of you may question why we bothered to mount them as none are what you would consider spectacular. But for us they serve as a reminder of our hunting adventures. I am fortunate to have a family that enjoys these as much as I do. (I mounted these myself)

My life size black bear mount and my sons first Mule Deer. The bear was a small 150 lb. boar.

Hunting Cowboy, glad you made it over to this site it is a great one. I am the same way, the size of the critter doesnt matter to me, if I feel like mounting I will, it allows you to relieve the memories of the hunt everytime you see them. By the way we just got back from Idaho elk hunting Jeremy and I both killed 5 points and Jeremys dad got a cow. Pretty good season so far, good luck on your special tag hunt. James
-
Congratulations James! I knew you left for your hunt and I've been thinking about you guys and wishing I had the time to get away! Can't wait to see your pics! (Did ya get any video?) Looking forward to hearing the details. Talk to ya soon!
-
Hunting Cowboy, what special tag did you draw? I cannot believe i havent drawn yet. I will have 9 points in 3 different animals next year. Good luck and cant wait to see your pics. Take care Justin
-
Hogsniper, I drew the Chiwawa A Rifle tag with 6 points. I'm a little concerned with all of the early snows we're being pounded with though as this is a migration tag. Hope I have something to show for it in November.
-
I hear ya, but there hasn't been nearly enough to shake those boys loose yet. They can get these kind of snows on the 4th of july up there. It takes a little more rut blood to be flowing. We are lucky that it is an "early" general this year.
-
boneaddict, that does makes sense . I am looking forward to the opener with my boys. Best of luck to all!
-
I am trying to make it home for the opener also but we will see. Where you guys heading for the opener hunting cowboy? Whats the chiwawa unit like? I have never hunted it? And where exactly is it?
