I need to take some updated pictures now that its done, and that all the mounts are up, I am lucky to have and understanding wife, plus its nice since two of the bears up are hers.

But for us they serve as a reminder of our hunting adventures. I am fortunate to have a family that enjoys these as much as I do. (I mounted these myself)

I am the same way, the size of the critter doesnt matter to me, if I feel like mounting I will, it allows you to relieve the memories of the hunt everytime you see them. By the way we just got back from Idaho elk hunting Jeremy and I both killed 5 points and Jeremys dad got a cow. Pretty good season so far, good luck on your special tag hunt. James

Post by: Hunting Cowboy on October 07, 2007, 04:56:11 PM: Hogsniper, I drew the Chiwawa A Rifle tag with 6 points. I'm a little concerned with all of the early snows we're being pounded with though as this is a migration tag. Hope I have something to show for it in November.

Post by: boneaddict on October 07, 2007, 04:58:33 PM: I hear ya, but there hasn't been nearly enough to shake those boys loose yet. They can get these kind of snows on the 4th of july up there. It takes a little more rut blood to be flowing. We are lucky that it is an "early" general this year.
