Title: Alaskan Versa Holster for a Ruger Super Redhawk 454 5"
Post by: jrebel on August 01, 2014, 09:32:25 PM
Just picked up this Alaskan Versa Holster for a large bore pistol.  Seams really nice and easy to wear.  Anyone have any experience with these holsters?  What do you think?  I bought the six in model for a 5" barrel...I want to close the end and possible place a grommet for another anchor point....

That's one ugly revolver, does it double as a downrigger weight? :chuckle:

It is a stock photo and looks better in person.  Not to mention it is going to be very functional.  Can't wait to go rabbit hunting with it.   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Here is a better picture.  I bought the holster in question....so far I really like it as a cross draw holster.  I will give more reviews as I wear it with my pack and actually take it afield.  Still would like to here others opinions on the holster if they have use one.
