Title: Fresh Whitetail mount Charlies Taxidermy
Post by: bucklucky on December 08, 2008, 04:43:32 PM: Here is a pretty cool whitetail my buddy killed last year, I finally found a form that he liked. I just mounted this buck 2 days ago so there is absolutely no finish work done, it is drying as we speak! I really liked the mount so I thought I would share with you all! I will post pics in a month or so when it is finished ;)

I've got a nice whitetail I regret not having mounted and I might just have you do the same thing if I shoot another decent one to steal the hide from. Thanks for sharing.

I'm working on my Buddy's (finally) and i got a wild hair so i cut up the form turned the neck and made it aggressive head downand it looks a lot like that form. hope mine turns out half as good as your unfinished mount :chuckle:

I think Bearhunter had a whitetail cape FS on here, why not do it now?

Seems like all the Taxis on the E Coast like Joe Meder forms in a semi-upright...gotta fight em to do anything else...
