I've drawn 2 doe tags (type 6) for Wyoming antelope area 115. The tags are good only in the eastern half of the hunt area, east of the Nowood River. I've hunted antelope in Wyoming the last several years but never in this zone. I'm looking for suggestions regarding places to hunt within the zone.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Funny, I won't have any info for you till we return from hunting antelope in that unit! Our party drew a moose tag in the unit NE of there so we also applied for antelope doe tags in unit 115, in all we have 5 doe tags, I have never hunted it but it appears we have enough BLM ground to make a hunt out of it. I will share when we return.

I had a buck tag there a few years back but shot mine on the W - side of that unit. People are friendly there and I bet if you ask you could shoot a doe antelope on private ground. A buck may be a different story. good luck

Any reports?
I'm looking at taking my family out there for a doe shootout and this looked like a decent area for an easy to draw meat hunt.

Stein,
Tie up a place to hunt or have a GPS with the landowner chip.
Lots of antelope on private, a struggle to find them on public. I will not try the area again without the chip!

Finnman did you fill your tags? Lots of BLM land west of the nowood River, but I could see the east side being a problem. Hope you did well.

We hunted the type 6 doe hunt, east of the river, we only hunted one morning because the other guys in our group shot a cow moose that morning and we left to go help. That was the last day we were in WY, so my wife did not fill the tag.
