Thinking of doing a last minute stab at the last five days over by Chewela and South towards Deer Park. Hoping the unsettled weather might have some deer moving. Been watching the weather but can't confirm any snow accumulation around the 2400' elevation. Anybody have any reports? Thanks for the help.

I went up over there in 117 earlier this week and didn't hit snow until more like 3000' but it did snow today at my house @ 2048. didn't stick here but higher up? more than likely. you can check 49's website and they have snow reports daily. A lot higher than you asked but might be helpful.

We got about 3" in Curlew last yesterday, pretty crunchy today. Hunted with guy last night above the school about 5 miles and we got into spots with around 5" The sad part was we only cut one set of new tracks. :dunno:

went out and took a couple of shots for you today just for reference, supposed to snow 'til reality sets in this weekend according to the weather guys and gals from spokane. expecting an inch per hour on friday depending on who you believe.

unit 113 @ 2048' deceptive since this close to the river it usually doesn't measure up when just a 1/4 mile from the river it 's sticking.
