The boy( 8 ) and I are heading to the Selkirk's for the opener.

I have a spot around 3600ft and one around 5000ft wondering if the bears will be up that high?

You should scrape that up off the ground, wrap it in a pastry shell and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let us know how. it tastes!

Look like either cherry , apricots or maybe plums and looking at the skins in the pile I'd lean towards Plums

Those are absolutely not plum or apricot pits. The bear has been eating choke cherries.

Yeah, there are no plums or  apricots in there. Pits are not big enough and there isn't any skins. But we do have chokecherries close by. Been seeing these in the crap around where iv been hunting and wondered what they were. Headn back up for 10 days come Friday!
