Here is a good moose to get the tag holders excited :)
-
Great Bull!!!!
-
He's not particularly long and his paddles are not real wide, but he is a decent bull for sure.

He's a nice one  Would be hard to pass him up

That may be true. But in my fantasy the arrow has already passed through and is laying on the bloody ground before I realize what you said :chuckle: He is way too cool looking for me to worry about a score. Plus, since I am a WDFW forever loser...fantasy is all I'll ever have. Nice pictures!

damn those critters are huge
-
Nice bull...
-
Good bull
-
48" plus moose is good enough for me. Boom!

I wouldn't shoot him first day (triple fronts, 9 points and at least 48") but I could later if I could talk coach into giving me shells.

I understand what you guys are saying but not sure if presented the opportunity i could pass on that one. Knowing there are bigger, he is still in the top 10%.
-
That is a great bull that 90% of hunters would be thrilled to notch their tag on, myself included.
-
Wa state shooter for sure..
-
The only thing that bull would hear would be a soft thump and the air escaping out two holes out each side of his chest.
:archery_smiley:
-
Slayerz what's the date on the pics? Is he even done yet?
-
I wouldn't even think twice!
-
:yeah:he would go down to burger town without hesitation!

I love it.. Say's the man. If'n I ever draw a Selkirk tag which I believe I will. I'll prolly be puttin a bug in your ear. :)

I hope to find one that nice. I would love to have the opportunity to take a beautiful animal like that one with My bow this year. I can not wait to get back over there and do some more scouting before season.

The pictures are 8/4 and 8/5, I checked the cam in early September and the batteries died in early August (8/7). Will be checking the cam again in early October, will post more if he is still around.

I got a few pics of this bull after he got rid of his velvet. How wide to you think he is? He may still be alive.
-
Knowing mine was 48, I'd have to give him low 50's. Beautiful critter.
-
I'll give you a call next year when I get my tag...and then we will find out for sure :chuckle:
Love the moose pics! Was hoping you would have some post velvet

I had to go back and look at your photo to make sure it wasn't the same bull :chuckle: His paddles look a little shorter than yours but those tines look longer. Makes me think you are on the money guessing low 50's. But I am just a moose dreamer and not an expert ;)
-
I posted a couple trail pictures over on Jae's thread of what I think is the same bull as Butch's. Trying to use it as reference, I was guessing mid 50's, but the angles and distance are much different.
Here are a few other good bulls from the same camera.
-
How cool to have such giants on film! And another member's moose! So neat!

What kind of camera is that, the bull looks superimposed.
