Bear Hunt with Free Cougar Option
We could use a couple more bear hunters, all our bear hunters have finished their hunts, this has been an excellent fall hunt with 8 out of 9 hunters shooting. We saw over 40 bear during the first 5 days of season and now we have bear that have just started hitting apple trees on our hunting leases so I expect at least another week of above average bear hunting. We have been seeing bear at least every other day and often every day. If you come bring a cougar tag, we have seen more cougar than ever this year, we've seen 8 cats this year while out hunting, no extra charge if you take one, we want them killed.
Regular 5-Day Hunt...$1950
Guaranteed Hunt.......$2550 (50% refund if no shot)

I wish I had time to get over there and hunt with you this year Dale, too many other plans. Next year.

Highly recommended! If you've EVER considered doing this, try to make it happen now.
It's not just the wonderful crew and accomodations but the bears are CRAZY ACTIVE over there right now. :yeah:
I sooooo respect you hunters who make the sacrifices required to fill your tags year after year, but if you are like me (working all the time and just too busy to put in the time to make your own success) this is the best way to still make it happen!
Dale & crew put in the time, scout the areas, locate the animals, secure leases of private ranches, and 'held my hand' ALL THE WAY thru the process of filling my tag.
From the moment I arrived, checking the accuracy of my rifle, to loading my coolers and sending me on my way home after success. (and I'll add being concerned that I made it home ok) it couldn't have been a better experience!
All this service PLUS right now these bears (and cougars) are just plain THICK. 8)

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
We booked one hunter, we could take 1 more hunter, preferably Monday-Friday next week, Sept 15-19.

I so want to come out there. Just don't have that kind of cash on hand.
Never shot a bear before, but I've got a bear tag and a cougar tag ready just in case for mod deer season. Figure if I'm hunting deer, there's a good chance I'll run into a bear or a cougar that's hunting prey too.
I'll say that I'm like Duffer... If I come sometime, I'll need a guide and the whole "hand-holding" thing too. Time to start thinking about next year. Until then, I'm just dreaming.

The new hunter is on her second day of hunting and has seen three bear and missed two bear already. They say the third time is a charm, so my fingers are crossed for #3 to be right on the money (bear).
It seems the hunting is going to be good a while longer so we are looking for another one or two hunters to come bear hunting after the 19th.

UPDATE:
Well the third time was a charm, last night on the second day of her hunt, just before the end of shooting hours Fitz made good on her shooting! The bear (an old barren sow) measured right at 6 feet, probably somewhere around 240-250 pounds, definitely one of the larger sows we've taken. Sometimes I almost think misses are meant to happen because in the end Fitz got the best bear seen on her hunt.
This has been a phenomenal year for bear, we have probably seen about 80 bear, I lost exact count, I'm sure some were the same bear, but that is a lot of bear sightings. The next hunt is sold, if the berries and apples hold out we may have another hunt available at the end of September or in early October. Contact Dale at (208) 852-6494 if you are interested in hunting and if the hunting still looks good we'll try to get you a bear.
