Title: Broadhead Question
Post by: Little Fish on September 06, 2007, 09:03:17 PM: After practicing with field tips I've switched over to broadheads for the last little bit of practice before the season. The only broadheads I've shot are the ones I designated for practice (same as my hunting broadheads). So my question is ~ should I shoot the actual broadheads and arrows I will be hunting with to confirm there is nothing funny going on or this uneccessary?

Post by: Ironhead on September 06, 2007, 10:24:40 PM: I would just spin test your arrows with the broadheads on. I won't practice with my hunting arrows. I like my hunting arrows in perfect condition, with absolutely razor sharp heads on them.

Post by: DOUBLELUNG on September 07, 2007, 05:31:48 AM: I agree 100% with Ironhead. I do shoot my hunting arrows a couple of times with field points, to make sure there isn't a fletching issue.
