i think they are illegal in washington? anything electrical or battery operated on a bow in washington is illegal i think anyway
-
search the topic..millions of threads. I use when videoing my hunts. Fun but IMHO no hunting gain. Im 99% sure they are legal in WA now..there are dozens of threads on this topic.wouldnt be surprised if a mod locks this one and directs ya there

They are legal now.

I tried them, didnt see much difference. Fun for the first 5 shots, but for the cost and loss of FOC I would just rather use standard nocks. :twocents:
BTW if you do buy some dont get blue, cant see it very well. Green is much brighter.

I just started using lighted knocks this year, IMO they are great. I havent noticed any difference in performance or accuracy. Also when shooting in low light conditions (in the timber or at last light) you can know exactly where that arrow hit.
-
Red is even better. Nockturnals are about the best out there.
-
i tried them last year. Went with nockturnals, cause the foc was sketchy and luminoks are heavier. I got jacked on a low shot where the light crapped out and quit in mid air just as it was coming down. It made it look like i missed high. The bull turned around and I took another shot aiming with a closer pin and probably almost hit his hoof. If i'd just known that I missed low.....scrapped them after that. I can deal with my errors, but refuse to deal with defective products. And yeah, the red was awesomely bright until it stopped working.
Not worth the foc loss.

found em at wally world $23 for a 3 pack. last night they had a bunch, today all gone lol
-
I bought 2 packs of nocturnals, Only problem I had is the very first one I shot split the knock and arrow flew off....the other 5 work great

I started practicing with them early in the year but started noticing they changed the flight of my arrow past 30 yards. I did some calculations and they changed my FOC from 11.6 to 7.3. I shoot Carbon express reds and with a wrap, bull collar, and a light knock it was just to much in the rear of my arrow. I removed them and will be doing some recalculations next year so that I can shoot them. There great if you set your gear up properly with them.
