I saw on the news last night some lady in Issaquah has a bear trying to eat her christmas tree ornaments in the yard...they're still lookin for food...at least a few of em..it looked like a decent bear.
-
I was elk hunting at Tampico and around clear lake, last weekend, and saw fresh bear sign in both areas. One guy saw fresh prints in the mud.
-
Yep, one got hit by a car on I5 just east of Cd'A wednesday morning.
-
One of my students got pics on his trail cam this week of a really nice bear (250+). The cool part is that its in about 4" of snow. Think what that hide would be like
-
Walt, when did I5 move to the other side of C'da? Holy criminy, did the bear take it over there? That is some kinda news! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: Well I guess it is kinda east of C'da, about 24,700 miles east that is.........LOL
-
I figured CDa was some westside area? Kind of confused me :dunno: :chuckle:
-
Oops. I meant I90.

I saw a couple of tracks the other day. Followed them to a creek that had a bunch of dead salmon in it.
-
fresh tracks today 8 inches of snow,

How about going into your chicken coop last night in the dark to close them up and coming face to face with a 275lb to 300lb bear blowing at you 10 feet away, while eating the layer pellets out of the hen house. :yike: I honestly don't think there is enough laundry detergent to clean my shorts. Just happy it was me and not my wife, I think I would have had to commit her. :chuckle:
I never thought they would be still looking for food.
-
I will never be able to feed my chickens without carrying my 44 again :chuckle:
-
and here I was carrying for coyote/coon/possum, I guess I'll upgrade my weapon.
-
picked up my camera today and seen this guy.

The snow should have put them away. That is a nice bear you got a pic of.
