Just a question, I've been living in moses lake for a couple years an never really been out an about this unit. I was wondering how the sage brush flats an quincy lake areas are for mule deer. Is there a lot of DNR land around sage brush flats?

I grew up hunting in Grant Co and shot a few decent size muleys, so there is some good mule deer hunting.  But most of it is private land. I never hunted Quincy Lakes area, so I'm not sure how good it is.  There is some public land and private land (the farmers allow hunting) behind Ephrata and Soap Lake.  Get a BLM and DNR map of the area there is a decent amount of ground to hunt, but most public land in this area for modern firearm is busy.  I don't hunt this area anymore because it to busy, weather is to warm, and mostly flat.
