PHOTO OF THE MONTH - OCTOBER 2014 - HUNTING CAMP
Show us your best hunting camp photo taken within the last year!
CONTEST RULES! (monthly changes will be highlighted)
1. Monthly Theme Photos can be disqualified that do not match the monthly theme or violate contest rules
2. Photo Size 800x600 Pixels or LESS Most violated rule, you must resize or get help resizing (resizing info below)
3. No Photo Manipulation is allowed except for normal editing, cropping, sharpening etc. Please do not enter HDR photos
4. Entries Submitted As-Is Judges will not enhance or alter images for you, you are responsible for the photo submitted
5. Current Photos Only Photo must have been taken within the last calendar year
6. Who Can Enter Any member may enter 1 photo that they have taken or if they are shown in the photo
7. ONE Entry Only Do not enter more than 1 photo, your first entry will be your only eligible photo
8. Previously Entered Photos are not eligible for entry in this months contest
9. Entry Deadline is midnight on the last day of the month
10. Waiting Period The winner of any monthly contest is not eligible to enter the next month's contest
11. Judging Photos will be voted on by members, if there is a tie, the moderators will decide the winner
12. Preference should be given for photos of Washington material when judging
13. Winning Prize The Winner must send a message (pm) to "Smossy's Girl" with your name and mailing address
14. All Photos become the property of Hunting-Washington upon contest entry and may be used at Hunting-Washington's discretion
15. Photo Of The Year Contest Monthly winners will be entered in the "Photo Of The Year Contest"
How to Resize Photos if you have Windows XP or Windows 7 it only takes a minute:
a. Copy the file of the photo you want to resize. (so you don't resize the original)
b. Right click on your new photo file
c. Mouse over "Open With"
d. Click "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"
e. From the menu at the top click "Edit Picture"
f. From the menu on the right click "Resize"
g. Find option marked "Percentage of original heigth and size" use the down arrow to reduce the photo size.
h. Click "OK"
i. Click "File" on the top menu and choose "Save"

Not very extravagant, but apparently adequate. I dug out the flatspot for the bed. The rock was to keep me from rolling off the hill in the middle of the night. It Worked good for propping up antlers too.

My grandson Isaiah cooking bacon his way in deer camp. Not sure he is awake.

Don't forget guys the size limit for your photos is 800x600 - I've been having to disqualify a lot for not following that :( there's instructions how to resize in the main post or if you still can't figure it out send me a PM.
