I would say this would answer the question of it not being legal
 f.   It is unlawful to hunt big game
animals with any arrow or bolt that does
not have a sharp broadhead, and the
broadhead blade or blades are less than
seven eighth inches.

I bet someone tries though.

Those have been around a bit.....I think I would try them in a heartbeat for a Texas damage control hog hunt...something like that.

Interesting.   I would hope people have the sense to only use them where there is little to no chance of a deflection sending a bullet in a totally unintended direction.

I would use it on coyotes....just to try it, They make several different types too.
I think something like a 9mm would be great too and lighter than .357

IF they were legal I would try one on a bear...
