Title: Waterfowl and Deer?
Post by: McCRIZZLEY on October 10, 2014, 02:34:50 PM: I'm curious about this. What are the legalities of hunting both at the same time?

I could not find anything, except the obvious like you can only have one gun while duck hunting, and only non toxic. But what if you had non toxic slugs? or buck?

What if you brought a rifle and hunter orange and left it in the truck?

Anybody go out for duck and prepare for buck?

Post by: bobcat on October 10, 2014, 02:45:05 PM: There wouldn't be any legality issues with that. In fact there's no reason you can't carry a rifle and a shotgun at the same time. Of course, there is the orange requirement, as you said, so just make sure you put your orange on when you switch from hunting ducks to hunting deer.
