Nice geese Loki.

Ever get the roof on that house? :dunno:

Nope.  It took me until last week to get rid of the shingles... offload to truck from the barge (3 hours), and off truck at the dump, all by hand, of course.  At least the dump load off was down hill.   >:(

I'm jealous. I've never gotten out for geese, I don't have the set up. Looks like a blast though. And plenty of good eaten there! Nicely done!

My "setup" included my boat, sneaky feet, and a shotgun with some rusty 3 1/2" BB's.....   8)  If I could have ejected the second shell faster, I might have gotten a triple....  Thanks.

I was going to go duck hunting tomorrow morning but will be butchering my wife's doe instead.  Terrible problem to have.   :chuckle:

Every time I am on the ferry I am looking out the window as we sneak past Decatur trying to see Loki out hunting.

Good luck, I'm camouflaged in my big white Trophy....   :chuckle:  I actually got a goose triple once from it, and my first Oldsquaw.   8)

Now I just swim around with camo goggles and fins and a gunny sack.   :yike:

Decoys?

It's a lot of spot and stalk.  The geese don't show up anywhere regularly enough to put out decoys.

Interesting. I'll have to give that a shot.
