Title: 104 Gross
Post by: aardvark on October 16, 2014, 09:10:14 AM
A friend found this one a few years ago. She looked all over for other side and I suspect someone else has it. Brother was having his buck scored so I decided to have this scored at the same time. Maybe someone on here has the match....but I doubt it.

number 3 in the world typical.   93 inches net.  Think its 93 anyways.

I cant find the photo of the other one.  96 net(non typical).  Might be closer configuration, but has a real bladed eyeguard.  Not your typical Muley.  Similar bases though I think

Even if they didn't match, would be cool to see them together.  That's like a 185 typical WITHOUT the spread credit.

Where's a good place to have sheds officially scored? Never had that done before.

You can just score it yourself, its really easy. You can get directions on how from a P&Y or B&C book or online at their websites

The sportsmans show that comes to the Puyallup fair grounds is a good place. I think its around the end of January every year.

I worked with the club to get a couple guys listed as official measures.  I got one in Spokane, Larry Carey I think his name was, and one in Colville.  Drawing a blank at the moment.

I've scored them myself but would like to have them officially scored one of these days. If they made book I might have them put in there. Thanks bone, I heard there was a guy in Wenatchee but not sure? I'll have it done eventually. Thanks for the info guys.

Charlie Smith...name finally came to me.  That's for the national club.  State has their own rules.  I think any measurer (pope or boone)  can do it.  I just got the new book for my birthday, when I get a chance I'll look for you who is listed.  PM me where you are at and I will see if there is one in your area.

I guess I should feel good, 4 out of 6  of the official measurers for the NASHC in Washington were signed up by me. :chuckle:

Larry Carey in Spokane
Charley Smith in KettleFalls
Lance Cussons in Yakima
Dean Cook in Naches

I don't know the other two

Tommy Petrie  in Newport
Brooks Carmichael in Olympia

I am not sure if there are any Pope or Boone measurers in your area.   If there are, it might be possible to get them accredited with the club.   If you want the contact information for any of these guys let me know and I will get that for you.  I have fresh emails and phone numbers for them.
