I have made a few calls to a few butcher shops with no luck, but does anyone know of anyone that rents out their cooler space? Just to let a deer hang for a few days. We do our own cutting, but were just curious if we could rent some fridge space so we aren't quite so rushed when we home. Preferably within reasonable commute to Olympia.
We have plans to convert our shed to a cooler in the future, but that doesn't help us much this year.
Thanks

Just get a good used fridge, you can fit one buck in there (I have put two does in one before), for elk probably two. :twocents:

I hang my elk in an old fridge, i've hung 2 elk, 1 deer, and 1 bear in it, all at different times of course. Got the fridge for free on craigslist. Here is a picture of my BIG cow, very tight fight but it worked.
