Title: Nice Washington Buck
Post by: Critter Ritter on October 20, 2014, 10:11:22 PM: Hunted hard for 3 full days, passed up lots of smaller bucks, and on the Last Day, The Last Hour, I got this guy. Better late than ever. 2014 Washington

Post by: fly4fish on October 21, 2014, 08:15:22 AM: Good work. Hard to believe a buck like that can almost make it through rifle season. They have a way of surviving for sure, probably because most people would not have passed on the smaller ones. Great buck worth holding out for.

But the bucks never get to grow to this size, due to lots of pressure and other hunters. I kept getting trigger happy and wanting to harvest a buck every time I saw a legal one. but I kept telling myself to wait and hold out. And I got fortunate and got this beautiful guy.

I just love to be in the outdoors, and love being a hunter!

I think the hunter's smile scores in the mid 170's.
