Title: West Side or East Side?
Post by: BaseballStud20 on September 08, 2007, 05:49:25 PM: Ok im curious what everyone thinks. Which would you prefer...to hunt blacktails on the west side or muleys on the east side? Which one do you think is easier...to bowhunt?

mule deer and blacktail hunting in our state is like comparing apples to oranges. 2 totally different styles of hunting, the surroundings and scenery are different, the animals are different, the terrain is different....etc etc etc.
decide in your head what you'd like to experience and what challenges you'd like to encounter and go for it.

But it sounds to me like there is a general concensus towards mule deer. I have not really bowhunted either so im looking forward to this year. once the blacktail guys show up...it'll be an even score. there's quite a few guys on here that hunt blackies too.
