Title: Brownells Sell...
Post by: Hornseeker on October 23, 2014, 12:45:36 PM: Is this a great deal?? Would I be silly not to pic a couple up? Need FFL transfer right?
(Im talking about the bushmaster stripped lower)

Post by: b23 on October 23, 2014, 03:02:40 PM: Only thing you need a FFL for is if it has a serial number. Uppers, barrels, and stuff like that don't need a FFL. Lowers need a FFL.

I went by a local FFL and their transfer fee would be $40. So, with shipping would be close to $100 each. :'(

Yikes. I'd look for a different FFL for that price. Any respectable shop will do up to 5 at the same transfer fee price as well. At least I think 5 is the max for one form. I bought a few a couple years ago and only paid one transfer fee for the three lowers.

They just shipped today @ $123 for both. 223 Wylde with a lilja barrel will be one complete build. After that a complete lower for the Ruger 204. It's been riding on a Grendel lower for almost a year.
