This is the fourth buck and best buck I've taken out on this bike

8 miles behind a gate, almost all down hill.
If I didn't have to drag him 250 yards up a steep, brushy clearcut than this would have been a easy pack.

Nice buck... and a great ride.
-
I like your new bike seat
-
That was kind of you. He looks sleepy.
-
Where's his helmet? :chuckle:
-
Please tell me that you sat on top of him and rode him out!, that would be awesome!
-
that deer looks a little weird in the face, they eye area in particular looks strange. Kinda has that weird 40-50 year old head mount look already :chuckle: Nice ride
-
Headshot :dunno:

:yeah:
Love it!!
-
Very nice congrats!! At this rate you might have to retire that bike!!
-
Lol haha :chuckle: that's the funniest thing I've ever scene.
-
I'm pretty sure I'd have crashed but if I had someone to video it then I would have tried to ride it.
-
That left eye is bulged out, the right eye is sunk in. Exit hole above the right eye.
-
Headshot :dunno:
-
Reminds me of a certain Patrick Mcmanus story!
-
Nice one. i think thats the cleanest gutted deer I have ever seen, was he gutted on the bike?
-
Gutted and the bike seat up inside the ribs
-
Nice! Maybe time to get an orange cape for the deer you walk out. There may not be enough ribbons for some individuals I have met up in the woods. :yike:
-
Nice! That's kind of my dream for lots of PDX bike riders! :yike:
Well done and a beautiful buck.
-
Nice work and nice buck. Thanks for the pics, I've been wondering how to attach a deer to a bike and that is super helpful. The only examples I've seen involved trailers. I assume you used a seat cover before you saddled up?
-
Good thing you got shocks on that bike. He's real nice. You vere have to replace your cable cause they get gummed up from the blood?
-
Another question, what gear do you run in ? :chuckle:
-
Reminds me of a certain Patrick Mcmanus story!
I agree, If you've never read Patrick F. McManus "The deer on the bicycle" it's a must read.
-
Very nice!
-
Reminds me of a certain Patrick Mcmanus story!
:yeah:I think Rancid Crabtree would have been happy to film the debacle.
-
so if you sit on that deer arnt you worried about tick transfer to the boys ?
-
that's pure genious.
-
Very nice!!!!!
-
I would pay the price of admission to watch you load that deer and ride it out. :chuckle:
Nice deer.
-
Hilarious- Nice streamers...... all you're missing is the bell! :chuckle:
-
Nice buck! We got my buddies deer out yesterday on the bike. Washed my pack the other day and forgot to put my parachute cord back in it. We had nothing to tie it down with, but other than stopping a couple times for adjustments, it went pretty smooth.

McManus was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title. Don't think Rancid would have been filming, though - he probably couldn't work any gadgets that don't have baling wire or grease zerks on 'em.
Craze Eddie Muldoon, however, would have that vid uploaded in a heartbeat.

HAHA You're probably right, I forgot about Crazy Eddie. Haven't read those books in years.

Awesome
