Hey guys.... I know it may be a long shot, but I'll ask anyway.
Does anybody feel like sharing any info about where to hunt whitetail in the Idaho panhandle. I had some good property to hunt in unit 10a, but it didn't seem to promising this year, so I'm looking at new areas. I'm considering buying the IEP permit, and hunting North of Rathdrum, but I've never been in there. Is that area any good? I'm in Spokane, so any thing within a couple hours drive would be good.
What have been your best tactics? Calling, rattling, stillhunting?
Feel free to send a private message. I'd be very appreciative, and would try to repay the favor any way I can.
Thanks..... Dean

I am north of rathdrum and border IEP land. There are very good bucks in the area and lots of roads to get you into the areas by the twin lakes entrance or spirit lake. I usually have 3-4 good bucks on trailcam but for some reason I don't have any this year. I know there out there just not in the usual areas.

Have the same question.
I just found out about the veterans disability tags for nonresidents and was approved recently. Have family in Spokane area and am looking to just fill a tag in Idaho. Any help would be great.
