Title: cow permit question?
Post by: nw_bowhunter on October 28, 2014, 07:47:45 PM: I was told since I drew a special cow permit for the early season I can't hunt the same unit for cows? :dunno: is this true? I checked my permit and I do not see anything stating this. This is first special permit. I want to hunt my same unit if possible since I don't know any other units.

Your permit for an antlerless animal has a start and end date on it, that is the only time it is valid.

Once past the end date on the permit, you are limited to the same general season requirements as every one else.

If you didn't get your cow during the early season, you are stuck with looking for a true spike.

You were given erroneous information. If you have an unnotched legal tag you can hunt.
