The Power Shift is one of the best developments in quite a few years IMO.  New bows look fantastic.  Only fault I can see is that the weight increased.  Maybe the new folks there are taking a page from Hoyts marketing book...Make your aluminum risers heavy so your carbon ones seem even lighter!  Only problem is they need to raise the price of their carbon bows by $1,000 to make that work. :chuckle:

All the major bow companies seem to be stepping up this year.  Good to see as the past three years has been rather boring.

I have some new colors coming out this year.  Might match up on that string pretty good!  We are adding a desert sand, burnt orange, off yellow(gold) and a grey for 2015.

I have not yet seen the new peep Bowtech will be sending with those bows.  No idea what it will look like.  All I was told is that it's a product they designed themselves a few years ago and finally got the tooling produced.  Could be the cats meow  :dunno:

As far as the new bows;  I thought it would be almost impossible for Bowtech to bring out a new bow with balance and stability any better than the Experience.  These new ones seem to meet or exceed the Experience standard.  They are very nice!!

Question for Denton or xXx - I have heard rumblings about a contingency program coming for Bowtech.  I have not bothered to call my contacts and ask about it as it has not been a priority for me.  But I am curious if you dealers have been hearing the same thing?  If true, that could really change the target game to a huge degree.  I'd certainly be excited about that if I was a target shooter!

I wasin today to get my rest fixed.  I didn't shot the prodigy but it looks really good and feels great.  Had a really good balance to it.  I had to wipe the drool off as i put it back on the hook.

If I could leave the dark side after 16 years you can too!  It's not as scary as you think.  And there is no better cure for the brain washing than Overdrive Binary and CPX :chuckle:

I like it.  So far I've only shot with it on the comfort setting.  I may bump it up to the middle setting after I've shot it some more.

I believe rock creek sell at msrp . what you get is service on the equipment , any issues get handled and a free tune up in the first year . I enjoy doing business with a local guy instead of any box store when ever possible . Im afraid to go down there and see denton he may suggest I upgrade  :chuckle:

How would an upgrade be possible?  I mean...what could possibly be better than a CPXL ;)

I agree with buying local and building a relationship with a quality proshop.  Not many first class shops will stop the service and advise once the bow walks out the door.  If the hourly rate of a proshop was the same as a machine shop the average customer probably gets a couple thousand dollars in free service with every bow they buy.  That's a pretty good deal IMO!!

I'm shooting it in performance setting. Shot in comfort then set it to performance. Definitely a difference I
between the two. Thinking about setting in between. With a 420 grain arrow at 70lbs, 27.7" draw, shooting 368fps in comfort, 282fps in comfort.

It's the fastest bow on the planet...but it's a comfortable 368 fps  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Fat fingered it sorry about that. 268fps sound more reasonable.

Yeah. Feel that way sometimes too RadSav.

Maybe we should start a "Senior Moment Lounge" like the Losers Lounge.  Folks like me, who will be forever known as the goofball who used a H-5 measurement on Coach's elk, can go there to get a nice could glass of Ensure!  (remember Space Cowboys) :chuckle:

Won the medallion for pick of live auction at the RMEF Loowit banquet last night.   :yike: :IBCOOL:  I'm now the proud owner of a Bowtech Prodigy.  Not bad for a beginner.  Going to be needing some coaching and maybe be ready for next year.
