Title: Any bears taken from GMU 418?
Post by: heronblu on October 31, 2014, 10:21:02 PM: Well I struck out this year with deer so I'm putting all my eggs in the bear basket. I was curious if anyone harvested bear from GMU 418 this year yet. I saw a ton of bear early in the season but I held out until the weather cooled down and they all went elsewhere in the meantime. What are they eating this time of year? Berries are all gone except for a few stray blackberries. Do they go back to cambium feeding after everything else dries up? I'm new to bear hunting and would love to fill the freezer. Thanks!
