I would like to know if there is any indication that modern firearm Deer and Modern firearm West side Elk general seasons are going to change, or stay the same for opening weekends in 2015? Deer historically is second Saturday in October (the 10th) and Elk first Saturday in November (the 7th).

I don't think there will be any changes for modern firearm deer and elk.
However the deer season will probably open on the 17th, the 10th seems too early. I think it's the first Saturday after October 10th.

Hmmm I thought modern Deer always opened on the second Saturday of October?? It was the 11th this year. I am signing up for vacation for next year this week and want to make sure to have the correct days off

I believe bobcat is correct.
I suspect that there will not be any significant changes to opener time frames for 2015.
The 2015-17 seasons have not officially been set yet.....

In 2009, October 10th also fell on a Saturday. If you look at the 2009 regulations, you'll see that opening day was the 17th.
