I never did get to meet terry but I married his niece, his murder has left a big hole in their family. RIP, and to all the officers, be careful out there when your doing your jobs.

That makes us family Trophyhunt, far removed. I've hunted with Terry and his brothers. Hard to believe it was 30 yrs ago. Sad indeed.

no kidding? Have we ever met? Do you still talk to Ron or Dennis?

First 12 g I shot was when I was 7, and Ron, Julie, my dad and I were up near Crystal mt. I remember that thump clearly. I rarely see Ron, was little when I last seen dennis. My dad is their cousin. I have more memories of ron and his family. I don't remember Terry's daughters but remember hunting with him. I've heard all sorts of stories about them growing up.

And he has never been forgotten.
I have been teaching Hunter Ed for over 25 years. Two to three classes every year.
I meet with students one week before the class and I assign two pieces of research home work due the first class.
One Who is Terry Hoffer I ask the students.
Two Who is Pamela Allumii I ask.
Instructions are I want to know everything about these people and Why they are important to Hunter Education.
Every student in every class know all about these folks and how the loss of their lives could have been prevented.
There is also a trifold display telling these folks story T every class.
They have not been forgotten in Skagit County.
