I don't plan on hunting with her, but will be wanting trained not to be gun shy around target shooting. I vaguely recall someone mentioning about dogs that didn't really fit the bill for what ever reason. She will be my wife's protection while I'm away as well the grandkids playmate when they visit. Not sure what $ amount I should have for a budget but I know I don't want to break the bank either.

be careful where you get your chocolate. There are some real horror story puppy breeders in Washington that advertise they have "the best" very heavily.:yeah:
