I've tried for 2 days to get through to the guy at Williams, to figure out what front sight to use on my Ultralite with the WGRS peep. If anybody can help, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to miss another nice bull this year, like I did on the last day of early season with the factory sights.
Thanks,
Ron

PM sabot loader. He has a set on his UL.
I know the hooded cover saved my front sight when I took a fall in early season. Had to remove the hood, but the sight was not damaged.
Here is one of his posts
No it is an Knight Ultra Lite - but everything you see will fit a Big Horn...

Hey Ron I just got back but I that the Marine Corp has provided the information...
The only change I would suggest is that you might need a .343N front sight vs. the .312N since you are using a WGRS peep - Williams might even indicate a .375N

One thing I changed on the front of mine, was going with a greed fiber optic.
I had to break out the red one, put in the green (I'm 60, harder to see the reds in dim light)

Thanks a lot! Also, does the firesight hood fit this or do I need a different ramp?
-
The hood fits the streamline ramp listed above. I lost the first one I had, so sqeezed the second one a little tighter before installing it. Good so far
Mine is on a Bighorn.

I put some lock tight on the ramp for my front sight .seemed to do the trick for me on my Remington 54 haven't had any slippage or it coming off :twocents:

Well, Steve at Williams set me up with a 3/8 ramp and a .290 blade. Apparently I cant use a hood with that though.
