I had success this morning in the Selkirk GMU though it has been very cold. I have been trying to get my girlfriend on a buck and actually saw this one and told her where it was but she couldn't see it and then told me to go ahead and take it before we missed the chance. we have been seeing more and more deer as the week goes on but being so cold it is hard to move much at the elevation where we have been seeing the most activity due to the frozen crunchy snow, mud, etc.

Can you or someone repost the picture? For some reason this is the only picture on the forum that isn't showing up for me. Hopefully someone else is having a problem seeing it besides me.

Nice Buck! Pretty similar to the one my buddy took up there last Friday. Did you guys run into wolves up in 113? We had them everyday for a week! Sightings or howling daily, plus crossing tracks EVERYWHERE we went! Sort of nervous hauling 4.5 miles back to camp with fresh wolf tracks(multiple wolves at a time) crossing where we had been not 3 hours prior.

I only saw one set of wolf tracks where we were. saw tons of moose between the Skookum lakes, my girlfriend got mad at me for chasing them trying to get a picture because she is new to the woods even though she grew up in and around Newport at the various lakes she is afraid of animal attacks. too much internet or something! she is scared of nearly everything :chuckle:
