Title: New Winchester XPR Bolt Action Rifle
Post by: Kittman on November 14, 2014, 01:24:36 PM: It is looking like Winchester is coming forth with their version of a price point entry level bolt rifle. With their flagship models priced out of the common man's wallet they had to come up with something I guess to be competitive with the likes of Ruger's American, Remington 783, 770 etc., Mossberg ATR, and Savage Axis.

Post by: 2ndtimer on January 01, 2015, 08:06:23 PM: That picture of the bolt looks like a copy of the Ruger American bolt. I notice it also features a barrel nut and a button rifled barrel. Are they buying their barrels from Savage? Maybe they should rename it to Wavage or Sinchester!
