Hey guys. I just bought a new bare elite bow. I want to find a quiver that is tight, sturdy and quiet. Anyone have suggestion on what they like? :dunno:
-
Tightspot!
I never thought a quiver was worth that much money until I bought one.
-
Thanks Jason, btw just got my phelps cow call in the mail. First Time I've gone away from a mouth reed and I like the sounds. Much more nasaly than a mouth reed.
Why is the tight spot so great, can you elaborate?
Also any picks for a solid quiver under the $80 marker?
-
For under $80 the Alpine Soft-Loc 5 treated me great.
The tight spot is built well, has adjustments for any arrow diameter, a ton of adjustment for where the quiver sits, quiet and solid attachment to the bow.
-
Tight spot is the only way to go. Closer to your riser than any other quiver, quick release, your first arrow releases towards you instead of to the side, individual arrow tension adjustability, rubber instead of foam in the housing, lots of mounting adjuability, etc.
Get one

:yeah: No question.

I bought my wife one and am extremely jealous. I'll be adding it to the new bow stat.

Wow, it sounds like I really just have to fork out the cash and get one. Do these quivers fit on any bow?

Sure do! Best quiver hands down.

Tight Spot on Both mine and Smossy's bow. There is even attachments available if you're rockin a single pin sight.
-
Oh I'm rocking the single pin sight and I will need said attachment! The thing is a rock on the bow super solid and it is the lightest I have felt.

Then go down to the "Moveable Sight Bracket"
That's what you will need if you don't already have one. Works wonders.

Another vore for TightSpot

You guys talked me into it, found a used on on ebay for $65.00
Now another question...I need a site with 5 pins. Something that is good is low light and not huge pins. Any suggestions? What should I go with?

I love my Black Gold Rush.

Yup The Black gold rush is it. Good five pin. Just got one on my wife's bow. Get the micro pins they are a lot more accurate in my opinion.
-
Octane Deadlok Pro.
-
I like the dead lock pro. I'm using a old bowtech two piece which they don't make them anymore.
-
I shopped around and ultimately went with the Tight Spot - they are SOLID. I have an Alpine softloc on my old bow and it is OK, light, easy to use but lacks in the strength department.
-
Also a Tight
-
I have a Trophy Ridge quiver that holds 6 arrows and cost $30. :peep:
So far it's done it's job
-
Put the 6 arrow elite quiver on my E35. You want the best fitting quiver for your bow buy the one that was made for it. Love mine
