Ok I know we should have found time to scout the unit but it just didn't happen. my brother and I both got drawn for the late whitetail buck hunt. I tagged out with a mule deer already he just had a baby boy so he missed the general season so here we are going blind. we're staying in tonasket any help on a place to start looking would be much appreciated. He's never shot a deer so I think any buck is on the hit list. Thanks in advance for any help!

Lake Bonaparte has a lot of whitetail and there is good access around the lake. I drew that tag a couple years ago and ate it. I only had a couple days to hunt but always thought I could have done better if I had more days to hunt. There is a resort you can stay at that's right on the lake. Good luck.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Nicholson Creek to Marias Creek near the mine...........there are old logging/skidder roads in that entire area that you can't drive a vehicle on. ATVs are legal if you have all the decals/licenses current. But what do I know since I live near there and ride ATV's there........................
