A day before modern rifle elk opened up and for the first time ever (that I have seen) a big old bull elk just walking around some crop circles between Benton City and West Richland out on Ruppet Rd. Below is a link to the video.

Not surprising that close to Hanford. Expanding his territory. Also, I've heard of some elk living between mabton and prosser n
Side of the old highway so it seems there's actual footage coming out on them.

Nice,,, Now if I could coax him across the river to my place.

My cousins have seen a raghorn bull in their hop fields multiple times off of south satus rd a few years back.. pretty cool. I've seen deer In the area but never elk. He musta been lost lol

So does he have something on the right side of his face?

Seen him and others multiple mornings, six bulls at once being the most. Also on both sides on the river.

Ya was thinking he must be a straggler from the hanford area. Do some goose hunting a little north of pasco and sometimes come across elk tracks in the circles. A few years back I guess one fell into a blind and tore the crap outta it trying to get out. But with no real cover cept for that bird club land north of twin bridges area, just wouldnt of thought a big old bull like that would have bothered to wonder this far. In the years I have been fishing the Yakima river near my house, I have only seen a few deer. A couple of muley does, a whitetail doe who bedded down and watch me fish and a 3x3 muley buck with a broken back leg that ran across Demoss Rd. So to stumble upon a bull Elk was a very pleasant surprise :)
92xj, you seen this bull and others before? You out near Ruppert RD. or Huntington by chance?
