Well....... what I didn't want to happen, happened. My broski dumpcatted this hog today right at noon time. He's just lucky I guess, because this buck was bumped out a of a patch of timber about 40 yards thick and a 100 yards long by a good friend. Killed him at about 120 yards on the run with his 2nd shot after missing him clean the first time. Now you might wonder why I'm depressed. Unless I kill something bigger tomorrow (highly unlikely) I owe him $100, if he goes over 130 B/C I have to pay for the mount. Just a brotherly bet tradition we got going. Speaking of his Boone and Crockett score, what do you guys think? I'm thinking I'll be safe because I think he's right around 124 B/C. Also, you cant see in the pics but he also has spur-like eyeguards off the back of each beam. Once again, We're both PURE Blacktail fanatics so of course this is west of I-5 Blacktail.

Congrats on a nice Blacktail!

That is a beauty. Don't see bucks that nice very often. I think you are in real trouble trying to beat that on the last day. :chuckle:
-
I guess around 120ish. That will be a tough one to beat on the last day, good luck. Anything bigger than that on the last day would be clutch! Go get it done👍

Dandy buck!

That's a nice buck, but I don't think it'll go over 125.

Taxidermist scored him a conservative 136 6/8. We'll find out the official, dry B&C score at the sportsmans show, come Feb. Super stoked!

Very nice and congrats to Fatso!! I take it this was a permit buck

Thank you! Nope, it was open access public land
