Beautiful Buck. I'll be there in a couple of week during Late muzzy Alta. PM me if you have any good tips on where you are seeing good bucks. Thanks

Dang, that's in town too.   He had a pile of doe stacked up there when I was there a day or two ago.  I told Idabooner a big one should show up soon.

Yeah Bone he was in the rock pit right above the baseball field, he only had 1 doe with him but he was very interested in her.

What's your guess on how wide this buck is? I really don't have a good idea, he kept his ears back the whole time he looked at me.

Its really hard to say, but 28-30 would be a safe bet.

He was still there tonight with one doe.  I told the FS LEO keep tabs on him.  Still with one doe headed for the Chewuch river.  Looks all of 28".

His inside is only 1.5" less that his outside soread. Don't see that often. I'd put him just shy of 30 because his tines don't lay out.  :twocents:

This buck was at the cabin for a couple weeks so I'm guessing he did most of the breeding of the does around the cabin, he's not real wide but he's very tall. Not very good picture was taken from inside the cabin.

I have a nice WT also but he will only come out at night, I'll post a trail cam picture of him when I get home, my neighbor who lives there has only seen him 1 time and that was right at first light walking through the trees. Even in the rut those WT bucks are sneaky compared to mule deer.

Theres a 33-34 inch buck just outside Twisp I saw last night.   He was standing in a persons yard, so I didn't stop in the hiway to snap a pic.   Small upper forks(short g2s as well) , huge bottom forks and layed out pretty flat.
