Having Jack in my life for the last 25 years has meant so much to me. I want to share his last deer camp with you all in the area where the earth meets the sky and clouds.
Jack has hunted this same area for over 40 years and can find his way back to deer camp blind folded. On this particular hunting trip Jack, Don and I invited a member of HW to join us. As I had just started a new job a few weeks before it was only able to make it up there on the weekends, but the member was treated like family even though I wasn't there for it all.
Deer camp will never be the same now that Jack is gone but never forgotten by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Until we meet up again my dear friend, keep the fire going, the coffee warm and the chipmunks out of the food.

Sorry for the loss of your friend and hunting partner. Beautiful country where he spent his falls.

Wow, I'm sorry for your loss, I read the other thread and dug around for videos and really wanted to help. He's not suffering anymore and in a better place, again my condolensces.

Very sorry for your loss Ken. That was a very nice video. We can never replace one that has shared the outdoors with us as your friend Jack did with you and the rest of your group. We can only keep those memories alive in our hearts and minds. God Bless to you and all his family and friends.

Thanks guys, this has hit so hard. There hasn't been a day go by I haven't wanted to pick up the phone and say come on lets hit the hills. I never thought I'd turn into a blubbering idiot over something like this. I'm finding it hard to comprehend how this could happen to such a good person.
