Increadable
-
Holy long arming batman.
-
Incredible bull! ... Long arming? The man's upper arms are falling straight down to his sides. Hardly long arming it.
-
Holy long arming batman.
????
I don't think long arming is the problem here I would question Photoshop first! I wouldn't normally question every animal that is big like some but If it's real it's a freak ... something doesn't look right with this one to me.
-
well if mm says its real its got to be :stirthepot: :peep:

Well it's settled then! it must be real! :chuckle:

Doesn't look right to me. Looks like someone messed with the pic. :twocents:
-
How come we just automatically assume bulls**t when we see an incredably large animal anymore. It's kind of sad that there is enough CRAP out there and people photoshopping pic's that we have to stop and think before we comment. Just my 2 cents.
-
OH C'MON, LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT GUYS FINGERS. LOOK AT THE WIDTH OF THAT SKULL. I'M A FISHERMAN, DON'T BULLSHT A BLLSHTERRR 8) Lol.
-
WOW
-
I would like to see some field photos. If it isnt photo chopped then it is a seriousely massive critter!!
-
I call BS!!!!!
-
Bondo bull.

Uh I don't know maybe it's just the fact that the bottom half of this rack doesn't match the top and it's not even the same in color! And the guy's hands are bigger than his face???? That's a start do we need to go on?
-
Maybe he just visited one of them food plots :dunno: :chuckle:
-
Hey tmike your daughter is having a sleep over at my place & your son is next door at Steve's what are you doing on the puter? Shouldn't you be knocking the dust off the little guy? -
Why waste time when ESPN is on and a 6 pack is cold ;)
-
i am sure its real.but what do i know? i am still waiting for those guys from down south to show off there bigfoot
-
Looks photo chopped to me.
-
?
-
M_ray, I didn't neccessarily mean this particular picture/bull. I just meant in general. I agree something looks wrong with this picture.

I know I know :sry: I'm just a :sas: But you are right it's a shame that everything gets scrutinized as a fake and has to be proved before people will believe it's real! But in the case of this one I'd be real surprised if this one came out real
-
I don't know but "Damn"!! :yike:
-
is there a websight like SNOPES for hunting pics?
-
Ask jeeves :chuckle:
is there a websight like SNOPES for hunting pics?
-
o boy... :bash:
-
The eye guards and skull plate have been enlarged. Definately need to see this one in person. Can't wait to see it when it's on the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation tour. :ass:
-
did anyone ever find out if this was legit? :dunno:
-
its real, the sheds were sold last year at the utah sportsman show, this guy was the lucky one to kill it.
-
awesome.thanks shane
-
Oh well if Shane say's they are real then they must be  They are real but the photo is doctored ... And it may very well be a monster but I'm still gonna be very surprised if it turns out as big as they are trying to portray by these pics!
-
Looks real to me just a wide angle lens. Instead of long arming the photographer just "crowded" the bull. He is probally only about a foot away from the brow tines. One hell of a bull.
-

You tell me this guy is 5 foot nothin and I'll believe it's real!!!!
-
Looks pretty massive, but I wanna believe it. Anybody else have any photos of really massive bulls? I know cougeyes' grandpa shot a bull in the teanaway in '02 that I think would make you guys believers. However, the bull isn't that massive, but it's loaded with mass. Cougeyes, got any pics of this thing? I know its mounted.
-
Looks to me like it is one of those farm bulls that are in a small enclosure with nothing but the ground to rub on really, and as he got so old just got too lazy to polish and sharpen those points :dunno: Photo does look a little off though !!

Ok I will tell you the guy holding these antlers is only 5 foot tall
-
:sas:
-
here goes M ray again , my good friend saw these antlers in person last year, said they were unreal 72" of mass. taken in the Pahvant unit muzzy tag. Antlers were also at antlerfest too, pic is not photoshopped
-
That's great that your friend saw them Shane but you didn't and cause you say so we should believe you because???? They might be massive and huge ... but the picture doesn't look right to me. You gotta admit the pic doesn't look right! :dunno: Until theres more proof I'm keeping my opinion and it's just a story kinda like some world record moose sheds we heard about.
-
Looks to me like basically a sort of "trick photgraphy". If you look at the posting on Monster Muleys, you can see a second photo of this bull and in that photo the lense is basically touching the eyeguard of the left horn, really BLOWS everything UP when you take it that way. I am sure Boneaddict or popshawnpaul could explain it better than I can. Either way, it's one helluva bull.
-
I would have to grab that bull by the horns myself before I could think its real by the pic shown on here
-
That thing just doesn't look real
-
This is exactly what I am saying, something doesn't look right! ... Shane can't understand that I'm not saying it isn't a real bull or that it isn't big or massive it just doesn't look right! Now if it's so big why do you have to "Long Arm or take the pic from right off the eye gaurd?" Don't you do this to an animal that is not all that big and you are trying to portray it as larger? kills me when guy get a huge Grizzly bear and the sit 3 feet behind it's ass so that they look 2 ft tall!!!!! they look like retards!!!!
-
all you have to do is compare the head size of the hunter to the head of the critter. Either there are lots of raisin-head hunters out there of they are just long-arming or sitting way behind. All pointless. Just be glad you tagged out...
-
well im gonna say he's long arming it. but im gonna say also that its real. we have bulls that massive around here in the weneha unit because iv found the bones before
-
the skull plate does look larger than life, but who knows
-
I'm with M_ray on this one. One of my pet peeves is long arming fish pictures. Grrrrrrrr YOU LOOK LIKE DAMNED FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!
But yes, there is something wrong with that pic.
-
If I remember correctly, there was an article on this bull in Hunting Illustrated last fall. I think it came from New Mexico or Arizona, possibly off of one of the rez.
-
no way... lots of bull elk out there that have skull plates the size of a kitchen table...
...looks legit to me... :chuckle:
-
I don't think he's longarming...just looks like a farm bull to me. Look at the mass on those fronts! Have seen lots of longarmed bulls, and none of them had fronts that looked like Mr. T's forearms.
-
Here ya go guys and gals. Here's a pic of this same bull at the Utah Sportsman's Expo. At least I am pretty damned sure it's the same one. The fronts match up perfectly and the small point on the right antler near the end matched up perfectly also (Left side as you look at it).
As you can see, he certainly has some VERY impressive mass....but it doesn't look quite as impressive mounted as in the original photo in this thread.
I am NOT insinuating anything here....it could be nothing more than the angle of the other pic, perspective of the shooter, the guy holding the antlers, etc.
-
After looking at the two pictures, if that is the same bull, I would say the first picture is photo shopped. The antlers have a different color to them too.
-
As for the color, the pic is a little over-exposed so the antlers look a little lighter than normal.
But, match up the points. It's the same bull. In addition to the points I mentioned above, check out the 3rds on the right antler (again, left side as you look at it). It has the bend upward in it...just like the original photo.
-
It still doesn't look like it has as much mass to me. That is the part that looks photo shopped to me. I do believe that it is the same bull though.
-
compare the length of his forearms in the first pic to his upper arms. he could scratch himself above the ears while keeping his elbows hanging at his sides.
-
Compare the Elk to the Bou behind it. That Elk has fronts as big as your forearm. Incredible mass :yike:
-

AGchawk this is what I am talking about now your photo looks normal but the original is a different color from the guy's hands down than it is from his hands up!!! I still say it is a real bull but all your photo does for me is prove that the original photo is altered!
-

-
Good call by the photo shop cops. Now what do you think about the mass on the Bull ? ;)
-
LOL...Sure looks that way doesn't it M_ray? I never went one way or the other as far as the first photo goes....but I would have to agree with ya, it sure looks shopped now. I didn't want to jump all over it...I just wanted to show another photo of this bull and let the masses make up thier own minds.
Ironhead, I'll tell ya what, this bull has mass to spare...even in the photo of the mount! Very impressive no matter what the first photo turns out to be.
-
Cool bull. agchawk's photo is straight forward and believable. So many guys, like the original photo, take their pictures in any way to make them look as big as possible. Like one guy said...raisin heads :chuckle: Great bull anyhow.
MS
-
Yep, after seeing agchawks photo I can say thats a great bull! :)
