Title: What is cold calling?
Post by: stevemiller on November 21, 2014, 04:45:22 PM: I have heard this term numerous times in the last couple months But do not know what it is exactly.

WHAT IS COLD CALLING? :dunno:

Post by: Bullkllr on November 21, 2014, 04:52:20 PM: It's not a lot of fun and not all that productive for me. Especially when Copenhagen gums up the reed and the spit collects then freezes up. Hard to get any decent sound out of a reed call when that happens.

...Or it probably means as stated ^^^.

Ok,I know what a cow call is but what is a good locator call?

Post by: Damnimissed on November 21, 2014, 05:31:27 PM: Nope, cow call works for everything. A locator bugle will most likely be answered by a bull who is bigger than a spike, and obviously cows won't answer.

If you're close enough to the bunch.... The cows and spikes and a lot of smaller Bulls will just sneak in on you to take a look.
