Find a good pedigree with the following tests done on BOTH sire and dam. If they don't do the tests don't buy their pup. If a "BREEDER" doesn't do the tests below they are a puppy mill and don't care much about anything but money.

Hips, Elbows, PRA, CNM, EIC.

The only exception to not doing the CNM or EIC is if the dog is "clear by parentage". (means both parents tested clear with DNA) PRA should be tested because it has been said that it might be skipping generations in labs and parents which have tested clear have had grand pups come up positive. The tests are only about $70 each so, no excuse for someone who calls themselves "a breeder" and tells you things which sound knowledgeable shouldn't be doing it.

No Morgan's brother is a NAVDA guy with a GSP. He raises the yellow labs which are dark so folks call them red to make it sound more exotic.

Labs don't point. Pointers point.

Are you on Facebook? A friend of mine Don Varchol just had a nice litter. His female is sweet and calm in the truck and a real trainable and good working all age trial dog. I can get you his number if you want. Look at litter at Don Maryanne Varchol @ Facebook for pictures

I have a well started young Male (14 months) that is up for sale.  He was hunted hard this season.  Points Pheasants and will follow a crippled Mallard that dives for a 100 plus yards until he catches it.   He will be back in Washington around the 12th. of December.

people plan litters around christmas because, who doesn't want to buy a christmas puppy? Don't have to worry about pre-selling pups and waiting lists.

Also Sean Bryan of Simcoe Mountain in Goldendale who worked with Ryan has a litter that is a breeding of Seans female Teal to Ryan's male Mac. Teal is out of Ryan's other stud Delta. I have a one and a half year old male out of a previous breeding of these two that I am happy with.
